- 2015年に第1回大会が開催され、毎年9月に開催。フルマラソンの制限時間は6時間30分で、初心者でも完走しやすいコース。
- 網走刑務所正門前をスタートし、能取岬や海岸線を通って、大曲湖畔園地のひまわり畑がゴールするランナーを出迎えます。
- コース沿道には、オホーツク海の雄大な景色や、網走湖、能取湖などの美しい湖沼が広がります。
- 地元の新鮮な食材を使ったエイドステーションが充実しており、ホタテやカニ、網走ビールなどが楽しめます。
