- 春に開催される〈東山コース〉のスタートは山科の毘沙門堂。秋には〈北山コース〉も開催されている
- 京都を代表する数多くの歴史的な名所や自然を一望したり、著名な場所をコースに組み込んだりしているのが最大の特徴
- トレイルランらしい走り応えのある設定でありながら、初心者でも挑戦しやすい難易度
- 京都市内からのアクセスも抜群。ゴール後は寺社巡りなど観光や食を楽しめる。京都を丸ごと満喫できる大会
