- 葵区の中心市街地から、駿河区の太平洋を望む海岸道路を経て、清水区の駅前へ。変化に富んだルートがランナーを飽きさせない
- 首都圏からのアクセスは良好。静岡市には宿泊施設も多くあり、宿から会場へ直行しやすい
- 2026年大会では車いすの部と親子ランの部が新設され、静岡マラソンがさらにパワーアップ
