- 普段走れない有料道路「九十九里有料道路（波乗り道路）」を走れることが大会の魅力のひとつ
- 雄大な太平洋を眺めながら爽快なランニングが楽しめる。風が強い日は影響を受ける可能性も！
- ハーフマラソンの部では、地元の食材を使った家康鷹狩り汁やイチゴ、ペア(3km)の部はいわし団子汁などの充実した給食サービスが提供される
